“ For today, A's homework was to take in a 'favourite' poem to the class. Of course, A does not have a favourite poem, (!) but we went through a book together last night and she chose one, practised reading it, and actually read it aloud to her whole class today! I swear she wouldn't have had the courage to do that even very recently! (It was ‘I know an old woman who swallowed a fly.......- it tickled A’s sense of humour. ”
